Bring the family or friends out for some real “live” entertainment at CritterFest. This event will bring together shelter and rescue animals, rehabilitation and welfare groups, and animal-related businesses from central Indiana to present valuable information to the public.

We welcome anyone who loves animals, is considering adopting one, or wants to learn more about both domestic and wild animals.
We have over 40 animal rescues and shelters and other organizations attending. All kinds of adoptable pets will be at the fair, from lovable mutts to rescue dogs such as Shelties, Greyhounds, and Great Pyrenees to cats and bunnies and pocket pets. Wolf Park and other welfare groups will be there to tell you all about wildlife.
CritterFest will have great door prizes for our visitors, free animal-themed face painting, and fair food. There will also be booths with information about pet behavioral problems, common household items that are poisonous to pets, and what you should know about the law and our pets.
Dedicated friends to animals and volunteers from our community will be participating in the fair, such as Lafayette Animal Control Officer Monica Alcorn, who will talk about alternatives to the cruel and dangerous practice of chaining dogs. Please come down on Halloween to show your support for all of the volunteers and workers who help Indiana’s animals!
There are many animal-related businesses in the Greater Lafayette area that have shown their support for animal causes, and they will be joining us at the fair. These businesses include pet groomers, pet food stores, dog trainers, veterinarians, and others. Visitors will be surprised to learn about the wide variety of pet-related services that are offered in the area.
CritterFest is a not-for-profit event, free to all visitors, and is sponsored by North Central Indiana Spay and Neuter.
